Heritage High School

New Classroom Wing

Brentwood, CA

The new Heritage High School wing introduces a double- and single-story classroom building to the edge of campus featuring eight general education classrooms, a staff preparatory room and dedicated space for Earth Science and Sports Medicine programs. Replacing several insufficient portable classrooms on a sloped building site, the new classrooms are grouped around a common courtyard area, creating a collaborative environment with additional seating for learning and leisure. The wing’s proximity to campus athletic facilities allows for the practical application of its Sports Medicine curriculum and lab spaces.

Making a Difference
Addressing a critical need for additional facilities, students at Heritage High School now have access to modern and spacious classroom areas and lab space which prioritize occupant and wellness and expanding curricula.
QKA has taken every thought from our design meetings and incorporated them with an artistic flair. The 12-classroom building at Heritage High School looks and feels like it was a part of the original school.
