New High School Campus

Liberty Union High School District
Brentwood, Calif.

  • Completion Date: November 2006
  • Square Footage: 231,400 (New Construction)
  • Final Project Cost: $78.4M

Heritage High School was created with continuous input by school staff, parents and students to design a campus that supports the district’s educational program. Use of sustainable materials, abundant daylight and sun shading are integrated into the facility’s design. The layout offers four core classroom and four specialized academy clusters. Complementing a highly specialized curriculum, the academy clusters are unique in their architectural expression – each taking an imagery reflecting its use. In addition, the new campus includes a performing arts theater, library/media center, 50-meter aquatic center and two gymnasiums.

Selecting Quattrocchi Kwok Architects for architectural services was the best decision the District has made. The professionalism from the first meeting to completion of construction was always exceptional. QKA always listed to the District team members and provided a facility above and beyond our expectations. Wayne Reeves, Director of Project Development, LUHSD
