Since 2020, QKA has been majority employee owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ESOP is a generous no cost retirement plan that gives all employees an ownership stake in the firm. All employees share in the success of QKA. Click here to learn more about ESOPs.
We invest in workplace health programs to promote employee health and well-being. This is achieved through mindfulness, physical activities, and the Employee Assistance Program to improve productivity, recruitment and retention, and employee morale.
QKA has implemented a flexible hybrid work environment that supports teams working together to learn and grow.
QKA is dedicated to the continuous growth and education of everyone on our team through ongoing professional development and trainings.
QKA is committed to giving back to our communities. We participate in Career Days in local schools and are founding members of Homes for Sonoma. Employees are provided eight hours of paid time off per year to volunteer for causes of their choice. In addition, the firm regularly supports local and educational non-profits, such as Donor’s Choose and World Central Kitchen. We are proud to make these contributions.
Firmwide events, holiday and Halloween parties, bike rides, Yosemite community service trips, and family picnics are just some of the ways that we like to have fun! Opportunities to bond outside of work are integral to QKA’s company culture.
Strong teams are the foundation of our success. Intentional exercises and training to build relationships and shared experiences ranging from dinners with principals to regular team meetings to group trainings and workshops help us to grow and thrive together.
