We are proud to have received a North Bay Business Journal “Excellence in Construction Award,” acknowledging the impact of innovative construction projects on the North Bay’s landscape. Our award-winning project, the Cardinal Newman High School Student Life Center, symbolizes resilience, innovation, and community spirit in the wake of the 2017 Tubbs Fire.
Replacing and expanding upon the school’s library and media center that was lost to the fire, the new two-story facility features an Academic Library and high-tech Innovation Center that also includes a student lounge, cafeteria, commercial kitchen, faculty offices, conference rooms, study areas, digital media lab spaces, and a recording studio. Resembling a modern college student union, the design integrates flexible classrooms and transcends traditional learning environments to create a dynamic hub that promotes collaboration, creativity, and academic excellence.
We were thrilled to accept this recognition alongside project partner GMH Builders. Read the full award profile here.
