Solar projects represent a unique opportunity for California School Districts. Renewable energy systems are an excellent way for school districts to significantly lower their environmental impact while also saving General Funds. Renewable energy systems also illustrate a District’s commitment to future generations of students and provide an excellent learning opportunity and example of sustainability. In recent years QKA has worked on over 11 megawatts of photovoltaic projects. This includes providing feasibility studies, financial analysis, electrical engineering, DSA approval and construction administration. These projects will provide school districts with tens of millions of dollars in General Fund savings that can now be spent in the classroom.
