Barnett Hall and Public Safety Training Center
Santa Rosa, CA
The new laboratory and office complex is a three story building that replaces the existing Barnett Hall on the main Santa Rosa Junior College campus. The new collegiate Gothic building includes laboratory space on two floors, a lecture hall on the ground floor and faculty offices on the third floor.
The Public Safety Training Center is a District-wide training center serving eight municipal law enforcement fire safety agencies and the County of Sonoma Sheriff’s department. The campus needed to expand its facilities to accommodate a growing program that is in high demand and to address specific public safety programs: fire services, EMT/Life Support, law enforcement and the Park Ranger Academy. The project includes expanding the current classroom space and adding offices, labs, and physical training spaces, as well as a simulation emergency room.
