The new Lower Lake High School gymnasium is the largest facility of its kind in Lake County. This 23,415 square foot facility features a main basketball and volleyball court, four practice basketball courts, two practice volleyball courts, and six badminton courts. A generous lobby with a ticketing booth and concessions welcomes patrons, and allows for spectating through large viewing windows. The gymnasium includes fully retractable, electrically operated bleachers to seat up to 1,100, full locker room facilities, team rooms, offices for coaches and PE staff and storage for athletic equipment as well tables and chairs for assemblies. A large curtain can divide the space in two to allow for simultaneous physical education classes or activities. Abundant daylighting encourages energy savings by decreasing the need of artificial lighting.
