Fort Bragg, CA
The District recognized its changing academic needs and deteriorating facilities could no longer be well served by piecemeal repairs of existing campuses. This led to the development of a community supported District wide master plan, which has been the basis of the approval of $22 million and $16 million bond issues. These funds along with the aggressive seeking of additional OPSC and other funding have resulted in a $63 million, 8year modernization program. QKA met with the Board of Trustees, District staff and educators as well as community representatives to determine general and specific educational and facility needs. This inclusive and transparent planning process was invaluable in developing full community support of the planned improvements to bring this District’s educational facilities into the 21st Century.
