As part of the district’s Measure M bond, QKA renovated a two-story Industrial Arts classroom building and installed seismic upgrades to the historic Burlingame High School theater. In addition to classes in ceramics, art, design and manufacturing, the building includes a multimedia graphics lab. The renovated theater and backstage improvements maintain the traditional character of the original auditorium and preserve the WPA (Works Progress Administration) murals in the corridor.
