In partnership with international architecture firm Gensler, the Gensler | QKA team won the Community College Facility Coalition (CCFC) Award of Excellence for our collaborative effort developing a districtwide Facilities Master Plan for the Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC). The team and district were honored at the CCFC annual conference on November 15, 2017.

As stated in the SRJC’s press release, Dr. Frank Chong, the district’s superintendent and president said, “We are very excited about this innovative, creative and environmentally friendly plan for the District. In addition to physical improvements to each campus, the plan will also feature significant upgrades to technology and media services infrastructure.”

The SRJC Facilities Master Plan was the first districtwide facilities and technology improvement plan pursued in 100 years spanning all of the college’s sites, including its historic main campus in downtown Santa Rosa. SRJC immediately began implementing the plan to improve facilities and systems districtwide as part of its $410 Measure H Bond initiative.
