SANTA ROSA, Calif., Apr. 25, 2016 – Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA), a Santa Rosa-based architecture firm providing master planning, design and construction administration services for K-12 education facilities, congratulates Architect Kevin Chapin on his selection as a winner for the North Bay Business Journal’s 10th annual Forty Under 40 awards.
The honorees, representing a broad range of industries from healthcare to personal shopping, were selected by the editorial staff at the North Bay Business Journal. Out of more than 125 nominations, 40 were chosen based on their professional and industry leadership, as well as their community involvement within the North Bay.
Since joining QKA 18 years ago, Chapin has completed projects ranging from educational facilities to residential, commercial, mixed-use and industrial properties. He has served as the project manager on numerous large scale projects, including the $31 million new Bella Vista Elementary School for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, the $40 million Measure M projects for the Sonoma Valley Unified School District, the $9 million new construction and modernization of the Santa Rosa Charter School for the Arts for the Santa Rosa City Schools District and a $7 million phase of Healdsburg High School’s modernization for the Healdsburg Unified School District.
Chapin is deeply involved with the Active 20-30 Club of the North Bay, a local nonprofit focused on helping underprivileged children in Sonoma County, and currently serves as the organization’s president-elect. He holds the LEED AP certification. Chapin earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design in 2004 and Master of Architecture in 2005 from Montana State University.
