QKA Principal John Dybczak recently had the opportunity to take Press Democrat Reporter Christi Warren on a tour of Cardinal Newman’s campus, giving her a first-hand look at the work that has already occurred since last October’s devastating wildfires and plans for new buildings to revitalize the campus.
The faculty and students are energized by the new campus design and master plan, an effort John is successfully leading and with which he has a personal connection. In the article, Cardinal Newman President Laura Held was quoted expressing excitement over the school’s design and future:
“We’re going to have the learning environments that we’ve talked about for a long time that will give teachers a more flexible teaching space,” Held said. “We can start to accomplish some of the goals we’ve talked about — how to better personalize learning.”
